Second Notes (2024)    4:26

A film that is composed entirely from words found on notes app screenshots sent to me via Instagram DM. By taking the second note on each list, the words were compiled and arranged into a form that resembles poetry. In many ways the film is a conversation between the artist and its participants.

I-80 is a drive on the American road following a woman in the privacy of her 2001 Lexus.

Dust was collected over the course of a year, dairying the artist's life through its abjection. Collected from the artists childhood home to London to Prague, the 19 film strips complete a minuscule archive of these place’s filth, taken up and into view.

Seams takes advantage of the innocuous black thread and it’s low mimetic responsibility. It takes shape of the mundane; coffee stains, tangled wires, a fly flying.
